![]() OUR STORY A few years ago New York Game Factory was just a gleam in the bleary eyes of its founders, Jeff Gross & Joel Rogers. One day Jeff, reading about a particularly outrageous lawsuit, exclaimed "Holy priceless collection of Etruscan snoods, Batman! - There should be a board game about how we're all suing the heck out of each other, all the time." But being lazy, Jeff did nothing about it (if you knew him, you'd be saying "how typical"). And there the matter lay until 2003 when he and Joel were batting around the idea over lunch in Brooklyn, which, for those of you who don't know, is the coolest part of New York City. Joel said "Holy rising hemlines, Batman, let's make this thing!” They created So Sue Me! together, and the Factory was born. But then a funny thing happened: Jeff & Joel discovered that people loved the game – and they loved making games. Soon Controversy! and In Other Words were on the market, offering more great fun for families and parties – and family parties. The Factory really kicked into high gear when the Founders were approached by a gentleman we'll call the Mysterious Inventor with a line of six games based on America's favorite sports: basketball, baseball, football, soccer, hockey, and golf. The first three led to Drive 'N Dunk, Double Play!, Red Zone!, while the second three are in development for 2007 release. And let's not forget the devilish (but easy-to-learn) dice game, Gazootch, which came to the Factory from deep in the ethnic neighborhoods of Brooklyn. All seven of New York Game Factory's games echo Jeff and Joel's promise to all, which is the Factory's motto: We Make Fun! If you want to ask the founders about So Sue Me!, or really about anything at all -- including what they want for their birthdays or whether you can have an autographed So Sue Me! million dollar bill -- you can write to them at , or join the mailing list and sign up for updates on So Sue Me!, the SportsPower games and future New York Game Factory, LLC products.
